How your personal data is used when you contact me through this website.

Data collected

When you use the contact form, I only collect the information you enter:

  • first and last name
  • email address and mobile number
  • profile (private individual or professional) and type of request
  • company and property location, if provided
  • the content of your message

The website does not ask for any other personal data.

Why this data is used

  • to answer your request and contact you
  • to prepare an offer or a quote
  • to follow up on the assignment if you become a client

Legal basis: your consent (form checkbox) and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Recipients

Your data is sent by email to diego@dna-energie.be. It is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Some technical providers are involved in running the website:

  • the website host, which technically stores the site and its data;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is filled in by a person and not a bot (processing of technical data such as the IP address);
  • Wordfence, which protects the site against attacks (log of login IP addresses).

Retention period

  • Request not followed up: at most 3 years after the last contact.
  • Client: for the duration of the assignment, then as long as required by legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies and statistics

The website does not use advertising cookies or social media trackers. Visitor statistics are measured in a privacy-friendly way, without selling any data. Only technical elements needed for the proper functioning and security of the site may be used.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may at any time:

  • access your data and obtain a copy
  • have it corrected or deleted
  • object to its processing or request its restriction
  • withdraw your consent

To exercise these rights, write to diego@dna-energie.be. You will receive a reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
